Meeting Type Follow-up Material

This article will explain what Follow-up Material is, and how to write a prompt under Follow-up Material.

What is Follow-up Material?

Follow-up Material is an aspect of 'Meeting Types', where a document is generated after the call based on a prompt.
This document that is generated is usually something you want written out using AI.
Some examples would be: Submittals, Follow-up emails, Candidate Pitches, Job descriptions, Assessments.

How to Write Follow-up Material Prompts

Prompts written under Follow-up Material follow slightly different rules. Under database notes, everything written out is a "prompt" and the entire response is AI generated.

"Prompts" in Follow-up Material must be written between brackets [ ]. Only what is written between brackets will be read by the AI and have a response generated.

Examples

Here is a very simple example prompt under Follow-up Material to generate a Thank you email.

Tip: Please read the Prompt Writing Guide for more help.

Hey [Participant's name]
It was great interviewing you for the role as [Job Role] at [Company Name]

In this example we can see that there is a portion that is inside brackets, and a portion that is outside brackets.

Everything under Follow-up Material that is outside of brackets is "static", it will always stay the same for the AI's response. On the other side, everything inside of brackets will be considered a prompt, and will have an AI response after the transcript has been completed.

Example Response:

Hey Ryan,

It was great interviewing you for the role as CEO at Quil

You can also write out everything between brackets, so everything is a "prompt".

[Based on this transcript, elaborate a XXXXXXX using the participant's information. Use only the information provided in the transcript, follow this example for your response: XXXXXXXX]

By writing this prompt in Follow-up Material, after the call, the AI's response will be entirely it's own, without anything consistently "static".
