How to Manage Call Language Settings

Accessing Call Language Settings

Navigate to Settings:

  • Click on the Cog/Gear icon
  • Select "General" to access the main settings.

Locate Call Languages:

  • Within the General settings, you will find an option labeled "Call Languages." Click on this to view or modify the possible languages used during calls.

Configuring Languages:

Select Desired Languages:

  • From the Call Language settings, you can select multiple languages that you might use during a call. The system will listen and transcribe in the languages configured here.

Language Consistency:

  • It is important to maintain consistency in language usage during a call. Start and finish the call in the same language to avoid confusion and ensure that the AI accurately follows the conversation.

Reconnect Your Calendar:

  • After setting your languages, navigate to "Integrations" and reconnect your calendar. This update ensures that Quil is aware of the language preferences for upcoming meetings.

Review Transcripts and Notes:

  • Check the transcripts and notes generated from the test call to confirm that they are in the correct language as per your settings.
  • Transcripts reflect the spoken language, and notes are generated based on the language specified in the meeting type's prompt.
